What Is Your Codebase Worth?
Estimate the rebuild cost of any public GitHub repo with the COCOMO model.
Paste a public GitHub repo. We pull its size and language mix and run the classic Basic COCOMO model to estimate effort, schedule and rebuild cost.
Uses the public GitHub REST API (unauthenticated — rate-limited to 60/hr/IP). LOC is approximated from language byte totals; figures are order-of-magnitude.
Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is sent to a server.

Talk to our engineers →About the model
Basic COCOMO estimates effort (person-months) from thousands of lines of code, then derives schedule and a dollar figure from an assumed fully-loaded cost. It is a famously rough model — treat the output as an order of magnitude, not an appraisal. Line counts here are approximated from GitHub's language byte totals.
Why it lands
"This repo represents ~$2.4M of engineering" reframes how people value the thing nobody wanted to maintain.
